A notary, especially a mobile notary can be very convenient when you need important documents notarized in a hurry or you need to have an oath given/taken at the last minute. Most people don't need a notary, until they NEED a notary. It is usually at a time that is over the weekend, in the evening or at the specific location where you might be signing a contract or other document.
People need notaries for a whole host of reasons such as when you are obtaining a home loan, a refinanced loan, reverse mortgage, signing a WILL, Trust or Power-of-attorney document, transferring a vehicle title, securing property in a transaction, signing a document to have your child travel out of state, adopting a child etc... the list can be endless. Some people need a notary to administer an oath of office, verify/authenticate a signature on a document or certify a true copy of a document. These would be called "notarial acts", or services that the notary would perform.
The convenience factor comes into play when you are in need of any of the aforementioned "notarial acts" performed at a time that is off-hours, the weekend and the closest notary office is not located any where near you. The mobile notary is available to come to where YOU are and provide the notarial services on site.
If for example, there was a PANDEMIC and you need to shelter in place and unable to travel to some other notary office, a mobile notary would instead travel TO YOU (with the requisite precautions as governed by the local health department or CDC Guidelines).
Using GOOGLE to locate your mobile notary (such as myself) is your best bet. This is the fastest way to seach using your mobile phone and connect with a notary professional.
